Participants will receive an in-depth overview into Motivational Interviewing (MI).The tenants and theory behind MI, ambivalence and its impact on clinical care will be discussed. Lastly, the main interventions of MI including: open ended questions, affirmations, reflections and summaries will be discussed in context of clinical care.
