Adult Family Support Group

Mental Illness Is a Disease That Impacts the Family:
Families Can and Need to Recover

The MHA of Nassau offers families with a mentally ill relative a free evening support group led by a mental health professional.  The group features an informal discussion, presentations of new developments in the mental health field, including new treatment approaches and community resources.  Families will learn more about mental illness and will develop better coping and problem-solving techniques.

The group meets every Wednesday evening at our Main Office at 16 Main Street, Hempstead.

See our schedule (click here) for upcoming dates and times or contact us at (516) 504-HELP for more information.
